COR Sitzmöbel is extending its presence in the specialist home furnishings sector and, at the same time, offering retailers a forward-looking cooperation model that encourages brand commitment. As part of its business strategy the family-owned company is particularly focussing on the market-compliant distribution of COR Spaces and COR Studios in its core markets to optimise access to COR living worlds for customers in different regions.
Benefits for customers and retail partners
COR Spaces are at least 150 m² in size and offer customers comprehensive insights into the COR product world and living styles. The unique combination of a comprehensive selection of products and an inspiring presentation concept creates a brand new, customer-centric shopping experience at specialist home furnishings stores. “Brand-oriented customers can experience COR in its purest form in these spaces,” said Stefan Kappel-Sudbrock, Sales Director, commenting on the concept. “Brand partnerships also offer home furnishings retailers an opportunity to stand out from the crowd in a toughly competitive market and leverage new opportunities for growth,” he continued.
The shop-in-shop concept, which has been successively rolled out in the retail sector since October, is more than a conventional retail space. COR Spaces for retailer showrooms are designed and continuously updated in consultation with the retail partners. They showcase a wide range of premium-quality home furnishings solutions without detracting from the store’s own identity. The partnerships will additionally be flanked by marketing and communication activities.
The first COR Space opened at the Knittelfelder furniture store in Gleisdorf/Graz, Austria in October 2023. Another is due to open at Meiser in Hanau-Steinheim (Germany) in the near future. Further retail partners with openings scheduled for 2024 include Wohnidee in Lucerne (Switzerland) and Drifte in Moers (Germany).
